Someone's Home I Visited....

....this summer. It was like a dream. In the middle of nowhere, nowhere meaning paddy fields and ponds teeming with life. It rained, kept raining. The sun turned to sandstone, gave up, set early. Ducks and frogs and ants and snakes and fishes rejoiced. We walked around, smelling the soft, wet grounds, and the fruits hanging from the fruit trees. We ate, drank, talked, talked a lot. The trees crowded in to listen, so did a little bird and two frogs. Some clouds. The flowers looked on lazily, fragrant....quiet.

It was like a dream.
